The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

California State Waters Map Series Data Catalog: Point Sur to Point Arguello Region

Each GIS data file is listed with a brief description, a small image, and links to the metadata files and the downloadable data files. The data were compiled in ArcMap. Raster data layers are registered TIFF images and are in the UTM Zone 10 coordinate system. Line features are in shapefile format and are projected in UTM?Zone 10 coordinates.
